Sports at Ryeish Green Sports Hub
From booking a court with friends or learning a sport for the first time our centre has something that’s right for you. We work hard with the National Governing Bodies of a number of sports to fill our facilities with ideas that are fun and engaging.
Most of our sports are available to book online.
To do this you'll either need to be a member, or sign up for a free Places Membership.
Badminton
Badminton is an easy sport to learn and can be a very social game. The speed of the shuttlecock also makes this one of the quickest of the racket sports. It can be played at any pace making it enjoyable for all ages.
We have a number of courts available to hire throughout the week, which can be booked via the timetable below
Pickleball - Coming soon!
Pickleball is a new exciting sport which combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. It is a fun and competitive way to exercise, suitable for all levels of ability.

Summer holiday activities
During May half term we have a variety of activities available for everyone!
SEND sports session
This session is for 8 years and over to try a variety of sports!
- Thursday 1st August at 10.00am - 12.00pm
- £4.50 per child per session, adults can attend for free and are encouraged to accompany their child during the session
Please note this session will be bookable via the timetable 2 weeks in advance
Open play Basketball
Located within the sports hall. As these sessions are subject to availability, please call the centre prior to arrival
Open play Football
Located on our 3G pitches. As these sessions are subject to availability, please call the centre prior to arrival

Football
At Ryeish Green Sports Hub, we have an outdoor 3G pitch available to hire for football. Visitors can hire the whole pitch, while children can book onto our Pay & Play Football sessions throughout all school holidays, and every weekend Saturday & Sunday, please call the centre to find out more information on session availability
