Junior fitness
Health, fitness and remaining active starts at a young age; we encourage younger members of the community aged 11-15 to attend Junior Gym sessions to learn about the world of fitness!
Junior fitness
We encourage children to enjoy an active lifestyle and believe a physically active child is much more likely to become a physically active adult.
Our junior fitness is included within the 4 free juniors Premium membership offering. Teens from the age of 11 years can use the gym*
All junior gym users must complete a group introduction before using the gym independently. These sessions last 30 minutes and can be booked with a member of our team when joining.
Prior to attending the gym, a HCS form must be completed with the authorisation of the juniors’ parent or carer.
Each junior is issued a programme card by the PT during the gym introduction to encourage and enforce safe practise within the gym.
Junior/Concession prices: £5.00
Session times
All junior fitness sessions are supervised by a Level 3 Personal Trainer. Please see below the timetable:
Monday - Friday: 4.15pm - 5.00pm
Saturday - Sunday: 11.30am - 12.30pm
Please book these sessions in advance online, through the Places Locker app or at reception. There are 16 spaces available per session.
Once a junior member has completed their introduction and received programme advice they can attend outside the above supervised sessions with a parent/guardian or appropriate adult (18+) on a ratio of a maximum four juniors per adult.
For more information, please call a member of the team on 023 8027 6254.
*Please note that outside of the supervised teen fitness sessions, juniors aged 11-15 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian aged over 18. The supervision ratio must be 1 adult/guardian to 4 juniors.
